How do I install an energy meter?

Detailed information is available in the CCGX manual chapter 5.2. An Energy Meter can be installed in the main distribution panel between the grid and the installation for a full or partial grid-parallel installation.

How do I install a battery cabinet?

The cabinet comes fully assembled for easy battery fitting on site. No extra wiring is required on site and is all plug and play. The cabinet should be installed on level, solid surface. The surface should be concrete, brick, or similar. It is recommended that the cabinet also be braced back to a wall for support.

How do I use ESS battery life?

Connect to AC when available, keep batteries charged: Use ESS Assistant and select the “Keep batteries charged” mode. Not available in the ESS System yet, but it will be implemented. The ESS BatteryLife feature will make sure that the batteries are not unnecessarily cycled around a low SOC.

How do I find the installation manuals?

Install and wire all system parts according to their manuals. To find the applicable installation manuals see the links in the prevision steps. These links will direct you to the relevant product section. Then click on a the applicable product. On the product page scroll down to “Downloads”, and then select “manuals” from the drop down box.

How do I set up an ESS system?

There are a few different ways to set an ESS system up. A combination of these are possible as well: See below drawings to get an idea of all possibilities. The first drawing shows the wiring when a MultiPlus-II is used; and the second one shows how it is wired with a MultiPlus or Quattro.

How many P series batteries can be installed in a cabinet?

DC isolator, main DC busbar and all interconnecting battery cables are provided and should installed to suit your layout inside the cabinet. Up to 6 P Series batteries can be installed on the lower shelf, and an additional 6 P series batteries on the upper shelf.
